Dr. Galegher is originally from rural North Dakota and grew up on a farm that her family still operates today. During her undergraduate studies, she competed for the university's varsity basketball team and spent time prepping for dental school. Dr. Galegher and her husband now reside in Parker, Colorado, with their dog, Riley. Her hobbies include skiing, hiking, and traveling.

Dr. Galegher is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Colorado Dental Association (CDA), and the Metro Denver Dental Society (MDDS).
